a slight obsession…

I think I have both a massive problem and a great solution.

The massive problem is being slightly obsessed with footwear purchasing. However this is also a very handy solution to my current issue of not being able to find suitable clothing yet wanting to update outfits. New shoes can quickly update many outfits.

So I’m scouring the stores for affordable options as buying too many shoes just isn’t great for my bank balance. It’s New Look that again comes up trumps in the sneakers department. Who needs designer or sports brands when they are producing great looking and uber comfortable trainers?

Clockwise / New Look / New Look / New Look / Mango

The New Look pastel range of sneakers are so comfortable it’s like walking on clouds. The colour options include pale pink, nude and blue. Perfectly compliment monochrome dressing and feel more summery in the paler colours.

For a sandal espadrille combination head to Mango. These (bottom left) Palmaira-style crossed with espadrille style sandal is the perfect day or night shoe. Just don’t get caught in English rain showers!

So it’s also time to start thinking about getting the toes out. Visible feet are more apparent with warmer weather footwear. So what do we want to be doing with our tootsies?

Scholl have their summer recommendations for foot care including protection and pain relief. And Instyle gave a great rundown of top pedicure colour combinations (with manicure) for 2017.

My choice is neutral sandal colours with metallic toe colour – classic and cool.

Extra thoughts can be for toe jewellery and anklets. If you’re a jewellery lover why stop at hands, fingers and necks!

Etsy have a unique and modern selection where you can shop with small independent brands as opposed to mass produced highstreet styles. For anklets the obvious choices are chains and beads but for a little colour Accessorize have a lovely selection.
